Sunday Post (November 1)

Sunday PostThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, a post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things received, and share news about what is coming up on the blog for the week ahead. To get in on the Sunday funday, see the rules here: Sunday Post Meme.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

How many of you have a trick-or-treating Halloween hangover this morning? Not me! I slept like a baby. No trick-or-treaters at my house…cause I wasn’t at my house! Muuuaaaahahaha!

Halloween week is always the best at school because my team does take liberty with the celebrations and we read a very spooky story. Last year in one class my kids were so wigged out that they all wanted to sit at the same desk on top of one another with the classroom door locked. As for the other work stuff, still the same as last week. I literally need to run away and hide in a hole so nobody can find me in order to actually get my real work done without being interrupted. Like I don’t have 50 million other things to do…

And then Friday morning, while I was taking my last-minute shower, the entire shower fixture came off in my hand. Then I lost one of my brand new earrings at school. I swear it’s Friday the 13th! We again had major, “historical” flooding in Central Texas once again. We were just flooded out over Memorial Weekend and two years ago it flooded like this.

This week Baby also gets a playmate, so we will see how that pairing goes. I’m not getting a second dog, but it is the dog of a friend. The other dog is kind of hit-and-miss, so I’m hoping it all goes well!
