2014 Annual Beat the Heat Read-a-thon

Phantasmic Reads and Novel Heartbeat are hosting the second annual Beat the Heat Read-a-thon. Head on over to either site to sign up!

The Challenge:

Read as many books as you can during the read-a-thon.

The Rules

  • This read-a-thon will last from August 11 to September 1, 2014. You can sign up anytime, but must sign up before August 24 to be eligible for final giveaway.
  • Read as much or as little as you want – the main point is to READ! You set your own goal, and for three weeks you read as many books as you can/want to reach your goal!
  • There will be mini-challenges throughout the read-a-thon for participants, along with a grand prize giveaway at the end!
  • To be eligible for our grand prize giveaway, you must sign up by August 24th.
  • To join, all you have to do is make a sign-up post and add your post URL to the linky below on either of the hosts’ sign up pages.
  • You can put your goals and progress (will be required for the final giveaway) in your sign-up post, or you can make it separate.
  • In order to enter for the grand prize, you must have a post to keep track of your progress so we can see that you participated.

My Goal

This page serves as both my sign up and progress tracking. Below is a list of books I have for upcoming tours and to complete my Bookish Bingo card. My goal is to read 8 books.

When I’ve read a book, it will be crossed out and my Goodreads reading list will be updated, which can be viewed in the right sidebar. Progress can also be monitored through my WWW Wednesday posts, and my August Monthly Chit Chat post at the end of the month. I won’t be linking to reviews because most will not post until September.
