Book Blogger Hop ~ Read & Recommend

The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week poses a book-related question. The hop starts on Friday and ends on Thursday. The purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers.

What authors do you always read and recommend? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

I read a lot of romance and historical fiction, so I definitely would recommend authors in those areas: Nora Roberts, Diana Gabaldon, Brenda Novak, RaeAnne Thayne, Amelia Grey, Valerie Bowman, etc. I also read quite a bit of women’s literature, as well. Juliette Harper, Ashley Farley, Eliza Gordon, Kristin Hannah, Elin Hilderbrand, etc.

Specific books I’d recommend:

  • Looking for Alaska
  • Harry Potter series
  • Outlander series
  • Blue Steal
  • April’s Glow
  • Not Always Happenstance
  • King of the Friend Zone
  • Regarding Anna
  • The Neverland Wars series
  • Wonder
  • The Corner of Bitter and Sweet
  • Shackled

  1. Oh wow! You’re like me in naming lots of authors! I honestly feel like I could give a tour of my library collection and say that any of these authors are highly recommended! Though it will be hard showing off the ones I’ve stashed in closets and cabinets! Lol.

    Here’s my Book Blogger Hop

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

  2. I do love RaeAnne Thayne! She made my list too. 🙂 I really want to try Brenda Novak. I hope you have a great week, Charlie. Happy Reading!
