If you could take the place of any fictional character, who would it be and why?
(submitted by Charlotte @ InkBlottings
If I could take the place of any fictional character, swap lives, I think I would want to pull a Freaky Friday with Hermione Granger. She is intelligent, strong, and has integrity. When I read the HP series, I could connect so well with her character. She is a great character and role model for young girls.

What are you currently reading?
My students and I are still reading HOLES. We just finished district testing and went to the library, so now we are ready to read again. We are about to start Chapter 19.
What did you just finish reading?
I started reading again – on my own!! It felt so nice to be pulled into someone else’s life and world. Both of these were on my “read next” list from my loooong Netgalley list. I read Girl Meets Class first. I read a few chapters at night, and then I finished the rest of the book on Sunday. I was so absorbed that I went immediately on to another book. I chose First, which is actually two stories in one. I liked how they were intertwined with a brother, sister, and both of their best friends. I stayed up all Sunday night reading First.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I haven’t picked out my next book, but it will be one of these. Probably one of the first three, I’m thinking.
How about you? What are you reading this week?
