The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week poses a book-related question. The hop starts on Friday and ends on Thursday. The purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers.
I read several classics in high school and college. I feel pretty well-read, but I also know there are many I haven’t read…yet. In college I started keeping track of the BBC 100 List and ticking books off my list.
The one book I’ve always heard talked about growing up was Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell. I actually started reading it when I was a sophomore in college. I think I got to chapter 12 (or 32?) and I just had to stop. I couldn’t get through it. I haven’t picked it back up since then, but I do still have my copy and the bookmark is still there.
Classics were never really my cup of tea. But I’ve read a few that I really enjoyed like Dracula and The Count of Monte Cristo. I do want to read Frankenstein at some point just to get in some more classic monster reading!
Here’s my Book Blogger Hop
Have a GREAT day!

I do want to read The Count of Monte Cristo. I am pretty sure I have it on my shelves. I LOVE the movie. We watched it each year in theater in high school, which is where I was introduced to it.
I read Gone with the Wind years ago and it’s okay. It’s very different from the book which is interesting but necessarily worth reading all 1000 pages.
