What are you currently reading?
In 1972 home is a cozy nest on Cape Cod for eleven-year-old Naomi “Chirp” Orenstein, her older sister, Rachel; her psychiatrist father; and her dancer mother. But then Chirp’s mom develops symptoms of a serious disease, and everything changes.
Chirp finds comfort in watching her beloved wild birds. She also finds a true friend in Joey, the mysterious boy who lives across the street. Together they create their own private world and come up with the perfect plan: Escape. Adventure. Discovery.
What did you just finish reading?
I finished I Love You More several nights ago, I can’t remember when. IT WAS SO GOOD! I got bored with all the actual definitions being in every chapter that the child, Picasso, narrated. I started just skipping over those entirely. The entire time I was reading, I kept thinking something was going to happen to prevent the three wives from meeting at the end of the book. I was shocked by the identity of the real shooter. I immediately questioned how the gun was not found with the description of what happened and how it was disposed of. It would have been found. Other than that, I just found is really weird and creepy and unnecessary that Oliver had a few chapters. They were creepy.
I started Ain’t He Precious? immediately after finishing I Love You More. I needed something a little lighter. It wasn’t quite what I thought it was. I wish it had more development on the family. It all centered around an old love and what was then and getting back together. I just wish there had been more.

Red Sister by Mark Lawrence.
I’ve never heard of “Girl Meets Glass”. What is it about? I’m in the middle of too many books right now and listed as least a few of them on my WWW post: https://greatmorrisonmigration.wordpress.com/2018/08/15/www-wednesdays-august-15-2018/
I think the cover of I Love You More scores 10 out of 10 for glamour!

I Love You More sounds interesting! I hadn’t heard of that one before.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this week.
I really need to read I Love You More. It looks so good! And I’m curious about Nest. It looks like it has a lot of potential.
Nest sounds good — I look forward to your review! I’ve been bouncing between rereads and new-to-me books, and between ARCs and library books. Most recently I reread Whiskey Beach by Nora Roberts.
All of these have intriguing titles and the covers scream summer read to me. I just finished The Book Of M. Started reading Lone Wolf Lawman and plan to read How To Be A Mermaid next.
