I feel like I just recently did this topic a few weeks ago, so I’m going to stray a bit…
You guys know I bullet journal. [If not, check out My Bullet Journal series.]
I buy a lot of stencils for my bullet journal. Probably too many. But I like choices and can’t keep anything consistent for the life of me. I have never been able to draw two eyeballs the same size and shape, or keep handwriting in a straight line and consistent in size and strokes. I buy a lot of stencils from a mother-daughter duo a Journal This Now! They are constantly churning out new designs, which is great. I love that not only do they sell their stencils and make things easy to buy and order, but Janae also shares so many good tips and videos on how to do things. One of my biggest struggles is blending with colored pencils, let alone brush markers or watercolors. I like watching what she does and also mimicking some of her designs because they turn out so great. Mine are not as great, but still. They also have a Facebook page for the business and a Facebook group for users of their stencils to share their work!
I also buy a few stencils throughout the year from Jo at Oops a Daisy. I first found her on Instagram. She is located in the UK, so I don’t buy as many due to the price. I get really stingy about what I’m going to buy. She shares a lot of ideas on IG.
I like your take on this! I’m still a bit clueless when it comes to bullet journaling but I love seeing yoru spreads. I need to go check out your resources. Maybe that’ll help me visualize what to do!
That is how I started! I looked up a lot of different spreads and kinda copied and made it my own.
