What are you currently reading?
I started reading I Love You More the other day and I was immediately sucked in. The story is told in alternating perspectives: Picasso’s (the first wife’s daughter), Kyle (the detective), and The Wives collectively. It is SO interesting. I don’t want to do anything else but keep reading and find out how all of this came together and how these women survived all those years knowing.
One man, three wives, the perfect murder. A scintillating novel of betrayal and conspiracy.
Picasso Lane is twelve years old when her father, Oliver, is murdered at their summer beach house. Her mother, Diana, is the primary suspect—until the police discover his second wife, and then his third. The women say they have never met—but Picasso knows otherwise. Picasso remembers the morning beautiful Jewels showed up at their house, carrying the same purse as her mother, and a family portrait featuring her father with two strange boys. Picasso remembers lifting the phone, listening to late night calls with Bert, a woman heavily pregnant with Oliver’s fourth child. As the police circle and a detective named Kyle Kennedy becomes a regular fixture in their home, Picasso tries to make sense of her father’s death, the depth of his deceit, and the secrets that bind these three women. Cunningly paced and plotted, I Love You More is a riveting novel of misplaced loyalty, jealousy, and revenge.
What did you just finish reading?
I finally finished Spring in Sweetwater County. I’m not so sure about this book. It was medicore at best. I think I feel that way because it seemed so underdeveloped. There was some great depth with the secrets kept and the relationships of the characters today, but it just didn’t make it to the finish line. I actually rated this book the lowest I’ve rated a book in a long, long time. Only 2 stars.
What do you think you’ll read next?
But it will be one of my older NetGalley books.
How about you? What are you reading this week?

I Love You More sounds intriguing. I’m putting it on my TBR list. I too am letting NetGalley dictate at least one of my next reads, as I’m slightly behind on those. Here is my WWW post if you are interested: https://greatmorrisonmigration.wordpress.com/2018/08/08/www-wednesdays-august-8-2018/
Such a nice list of reads. I just finished The Mansion. Now reading How To Be A Mermaid and then plan to read Missing Signal.
I have I Love You More on my TBR I’m glad to see it sucked you in! Always fun in a book.
