Y’all, my life was upended this week. I’m tired of telling the story over and over and keeping people informed and updated, so just read for yourself below. Given all this, I won’t be getting around to see most of you too much this week. I will try, but I’m not making any promises.
I finished A Devil in Scotland and I LOVED it!! The ending was quite a turn of events and it felt like a second climax. This one was a fun and enjoyable family read, too. That element surprised me and I loved the “pack” that formed for the MacCreath family.
I haven’t started reading my next book yet due to all the shit mentioned above, but Unmasking Juliet is my next read. I already have it queued up and ready to go when I reach for my Kindle next. This one is a Romeo & Juliet retelling and it sounds so fun! The gist: a bitter feud between the Arabellas and the Mezzanottes who own rival chocolate boutiques on the same street in Napa Valley. Juliet anonymously attends the annual masquerade ball and falls for a Mezzanotte boy. She travels to Italy to compete in a prestigious chocolate competition to win money for her family’s struggling business only to find her handsome Mezzanotte gunning for victory, too.

Oh how horrible, Charlie… Just remember – This, too, shall pass… and in the meantime, sending empowering vibes in your direction and I hope you find your books a solid comfort! Hugsx
That’s so shitty Charlie. I am so sorry to hear about all the drama you are going through. This just sucks for you, but it is over and now you can just move forward. Take care of yourself. I’ll be here if you need to chat.
Totally shitty. Blindsided and hit by a Mac truck. Just get your stuff and leave. Lies. Drama I never thought I’d experience. I AM going to take care of myself from now on. I’m done putting other people before me. Going to be selfish.
I am so sorry Charlie! That is just awful! (((HUGS)))
Oh, Charlie, I’m so sorry about all this. I can’t imagine how much stress you must be under right now.
Oh, Charlie, how dreadful! Heartbreaking and infuriating at the same time. I am SO sorry you’re going through all this, and I’m sending you as many hugs as you need. You’ve got a lot of online friends pulling for you. I hope your local friends are rallying too.

Holy shit, Charlie! I am so sorry you’re going through this, and I wish I lived closer to you – so you could come stay with me for as long as you need. Sending much love and hugs your way.
Awww. Thank you, Lexxie. Considering in two months I was supposed to be living entirely in his house, every day, and starting a new job…What just happened? Whatever. Obviously not worthy of me and the love I give.
