The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week poses a book-related question. The hop starts on Friday and ends on Thursday. The purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers.
Have you ever found yourself acting like a favorite character in a novel? If so, which one? (submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books)
I don’t think I’ve ever acted like a character in a novel. I do remember trying to be more writerly after reading Scribbler of Dreams in high school, but I was already writing on my own. I just thought the MC was really cool.
I think I read that book at some point in my past. Likely in what I call the Dark Ages when I had very little paranormal books to read!! LOL! I don’t think I really act like certain characters, but I guess I do tend to gravitate towards characters who I feel like are like me. I might have twisted my answer a bit to this one!
Here’s my Book Blogger Hop
Have a GREAT day!

I think that’s true. I know I tend to pick up books with characters I feel I can identify with their person or their situation or their emotions.
I don’t think I do either though I did always want to be Nancy Drew when I was a kid. Sadly my father is not a lawyer who’d let me help on his cases. Engineers aren’t nearly as interesting!
I did want to be like Harriet the Spy, but I wasn’t very good at it. Engineers aren’t nearly as interesting as intriguing cases!
Wait, wait…Book Blogger Hop? Is this new? How have I never heard of it?? How fun! Thanks for introducing me to this, and I’m like you, I don’t think I’ve ever acted like a novel character haha.
No, it’s been around for a while. I will admit, I am HORRIBLE at linking up and hopping along to visit others.

I remember acting like Nancy Drew when I was a kid, but nothing major or since then.
