My Favorite…Museum

My Favorite.. is a weekly meme hosted by Maureen’s Books. In this meme we share every week something we love with each other. Because let’s face it.. The world can be a dark place and it’s time to share something positive.

Museum

Honestly, I haven’t been to many museums in my life. I’ve been to Houston Museum of Natural Science, the Bob Bullock Museum in Austin, and the small Museum of Texas Handmade Furniture, Dick’s Classic Car Garage, and Ft. Croghan Grounds and Museum.

I can’t say I have a favorite. I did enjoy my visit to the Museum of Natural Science. I went in 8th grade and there was a Titanic exhibit. I was enamored of all things Titanic in the middle school years, so I really enjoyed it. The Man and I were going to go last summer, but the Houston Zoo wore us out and we made our way back home. I knew we should have brought the dogs and stayed overnight!

What is your favorite museum?

  1. I dont think I have a favorite either. I want to take my kids to the Suess museum in Sprinfield. It is super busy and they only offer 90 minute slots for people. You also have to buy tickets in advance. I think cuz it is so new.
We did really enjoy the Pez museum in Orange, CT. We have been 3 times and I am sure we will go again on the spring time. It is small and the kids love looking at (and making me buy) all kinds of unique dispensers. Plus the prices are really cheap.
    Thanks for sharing your favorites.

  2. I’ve never been to the US, so those museums are new for me. I’ve visited many Titanic exhibits too.
My favorite museum is The British Museum. It just was so pretty and awesome. I loved it!
Thanks for sharing your favorite! 😉

  3. I think my favorite is the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in DC. Last time we were there they had a big exhibit on skeletons – like how to tell gender and age and different trauma. It made my mystery loving soul very happy! I think I saw that Titanic exhibit in St. Louis. It was fascinating! Great question!
