Thing About Fall
For the first time ever in my life, I am eagerly anticipating fall. Technically, the autumnal equinox has already happened, but the weather did not receive the memo. I am longing for cooler weather, long sleeves and layers. I want to be able to wear leggings and boots without sweating like a swine. I want to throw open the back door and let the cool of the autumn air seep into the house, cuddle up on the couch with a pile of blankets, go for a walk in the evening air. Perhaps this will be the year I learn how to properly wear scarves. The thing I like most about fall is the feel of the season. Just like how Christmas has its very own feel with magic in the air, I think fall does, too. There’s a quick nip to the air, the falling foliage that creates an array of color, and a small spring in your step.

Autumn definitely has it’s own feel!!🍁🍂🍄 My favorite would have to be the weather too because it leads to blankets and fuzzy socks with hoodies and scarves. It’s just perfect because you aren’t sweating like a madman or just the opposite and freezing your toes off!
Yes! I am more hot-natured, so a good 60s weather is just fine for me. I hate being cold, and I hate being too hot (which is hotter than most can stand). Blankets and hoodies are so great!
I think I like the clothes aspect of fall best! I’m sick to death of shorts and sleeveless tops. I want to wear sweaters and boots and stuff like that without being miserably hot!
Fall is definitely a fashion statement each year! I want to wear the only two pairs of boots I can fit over my fat calves. Come on, weather!
Fall definitely has it’s very own special feeling! I do love the fact that the weather is getting cooler, but here that means that there is also a lot of rain. And I don’t like that at all!
But those beautiful colors outside during this time of the year is definitely my favorite thing!

I couldn’t take an entire rainy season. Too gloomy. I do like select rainy days, though. The colors are so pretty!

Fall is a great season!
I’m ready to wear long sleeves again… but that’s not happening here until December.
I think I wore long sleeves twice last year. Pretty sure both times I almost cooked inside them.
Yes, fall does have its own feel. I love it! The cooler weather is fantastic. I love opening a window or two in the house to let the fresh fall air in. Love it!
