Favorite Thing About My Job
I teach middle school. Sixth grade to be exact, with a handful of seventh and eighth graders in my yearbook class. My favorite thing about teaching – and teaching middle school particularly – is seeing these kids come to middle school trying to figure out who they are and learn academically and socially. Seeing acts of kindness and growth and found confidence in these kids who fall prey to peer pressure is the thing I like the best about my job.
