The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, a post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things received, and share news about what is coming up on the blog for the week ahead. To get in on the Sunday funday, see the rules here: Suday Post Meme.
I’m back. And I feel the most unproductive I’ve ever been in my life. I’ve been spending a lot of time hiding in the dark cave of the living room during the day, watching TV and playing a game on my phone I should probably just delete. That’s not the only thing I’ve been doing, though. I’ve gone through some boxes and gotten rid of or sold some things. I’ve been trying out new recipes; I’ve done a French toast bake, ziti bake, tater tot sloppy joe, chicken pot pie, onion rings, and ribbon potatoes. I want to try a blueberry pancake bake next.
And I’ve been tending to my jungle. I’m trying to water my plants every night. Even at 9pm it is still nearly 90 degrees here, so I’m relegated to watering late at night. It takes about 15-20 minutes, and some nights I get too tired before I remember to go do it, but I’m trying to make a habit of it.
I’ve grown a little stagnant on working in my bullet journal. I am trying a couple new things to see how they work out, and I purchased some new stencils and patterned washi tape for new ideas I want to work on.
Just a couple of days ago I realized I’ve lost a smidge of weight in my lower abdomen. Starting to see results from doing my Plexus regimen consistently. 🙂

Since the month is almost over, I'm moving forward into my July pages and sharing my June calendar. This is the first time I've done this layout, and I didn't intend to make it a pictograph calendar. That was an idea along the way. I didn't complete a lot of my tasks, but I am planning on doing several of them with Richard's dad next month. #bulletjournal #bulletjournaling #leuchtturm1917 #bujo #bulletjournaljunkies #bujojunkies #bulletjournallove #bujocommunity #bujocalendar #showmeyourplanner #june #summer
I'm trying out the new Good Grips slicer. While it needs some better ergonomic design for holding and turning, once we figured out the best method we were on a roll slicing gold potatoes into ribbons, just like at the fairs! . . . #potatoes #potatoeribbons #justlikeatthefair #goodgrip #frenchfryqueen #crispy #lovethem #yum #nomnom
I am slowly returning from my hiatus. I tried coming back in June, and then I destroyed my computer (thanks, milk). I have been horrible with reading. I only read one book all of June, and started a second. It was pitiful.
I’ve spent the past week
catching up on the backlog of reviews I needed to write (somewhere around 15) and getting a jump on scheduled posts. Unproductive at its finest. I’ve been working up to visiting and commenting, and hopefully my blog starts to see an uptick in traffic.
