The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week poses a book-related question. The hop starts on Friday and ends on Thursday. The purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers.
I would prefer to read a book for a review tour at least a month in advance and write my review. I get very nervous about that these days because it is a commitment and I live in a constant time crunch. Most don’t send the book in sufficient time for some people, though, and that is the struggle I have.
For all other books – books I choose to read – I have had written reviews the day I posted as far as over a month in advance. It just depends on how my scheduling has been going. I try to post at least one review a week.

A month in advance? I need your time management skills. Like now. Probably yesterday would have been even better.
That’s what I aim for. Sometimes it doesn’t always happen, but that’s what I strive for. I also only review one book a week now, while I now many people review two or three (but many of those also have co-bloggers).
Reviewing mor than one book a week is A LOT. I don’t always hir 1 a week but I try.
I agree I would love to get the book and complete the review a month in advance. I have to get better with writing posts ahead of time.

You’re awesome. I couldn’t do that. I’m lucky to have it done a couple of days before the tour. Usually, though, I’m finishing the book and writing the review after midnight the same day it’s supposed to go up.
