Underrated, Hidden Gem Books I’ve Read Recently-ish
Have you recently-ish found a hidden, underrated gem of a read?
Ooh nice! Those are new to me ones though I am curious about the Neverland Wars! Great picks!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
All these books are new to me. I like the covers for the Birmingham and The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. Thanks for sharing!
Great post! Weirdly enough, I have The Hotel of Bitter and Sweet on my TBR (where it’s been for a really long time) and I’ve been tempted to just give it away as it never seems to draw my to pick it up – so seeing it today in your underrated books post has now made me re-think and I’m going to make sure that this book is on my TBR for this year! Thank you! 🙂
I hope you’ll read it soon! I read it in the spring last year.
I’ve heard of Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, but haven’t read it. The rest of your books are all new books to me and many of them look good to me!!
Here’s my TTT post for this week: http://captivatedreader.blogspot.com/2017/01/top-ten-tuesday-ten-underratedhidden.html
I hope you read it. It is a beautiful story of friendship and doing what is right.
Hotel On Corner of Bitter & Sweet was a great read. I haven’t heard of some of these others but am curious about some of these titles.
It is a great read, and so poignant. I told my students about it last year after reading it.
I have Regarding Anna on my TBR because of you! Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet looks so good and I’m super curious about Neverland Wars. Great list!
Oh yay! It was a FANTASTIC book. You have to come back and tell me what you think of the “OH MY GOD” moment at the end.
Hi! I teach Watsons. I like it, but I have to admit I like Bud, Not Buddy better. Awkward looks fun! 🙂

When we did book club at the end of the year (you know, after state testing), my partner would have a group read Bud, Not Buddy because our school won’t purchase class sets of books, so we have seven or eight groups reading all kinds of different books we foraged.
I don’t think I’ve read any hidden gems recently. Enjoyable easy reads mostly, but nothing that really stands out. Thanks so much for sharing this at Booknificent Thursday on Mommynificent.com this week.
