Famous Last Words is a new monthly feature here in Land of 1000 Wonders. I wanted to find a new way to share some fabulous quotations from reads old and new. The inspiration for this feature came from the character Pudge in John Green’s Looking for Alaska.
I love the Outlander series. I even talked about why I love the series so much in this post.
I discovered last year that this quote – one of my favorites – is actually from a poem that Diana Gabaldon quoted in the book. The poem, Out of Catullus, written by Richard Crashaw, is below in its entirety. I like the excerpt better than the entire piece.
