Summertime Challenge: Summer Television Series I’m Enjoying

desert CAMPING (2)

This is a summer challenge hosted by Parajunkee. It runs through the month of June and has weekly link-ups.

Summer Television Series I’m Enjoying

I don’t have satellite cable. I don’t watch the popular shows the nights they air. I have Netflix and I’m just fine with that, although I think I should also go back and add Hulu as well.

At the beginning of summer I finished the last season of One Tree Hill. I got through the series faster than what I thought and I was a little sad to see it go.

I then took a big leap and started Grey’s Anatomy. I never watched the show when it originally aired on TV, and I didn’t understand all the hype about it, either. I still don’t. I think it is a very well-crafted show, don’t get me wrong. It has very funny moments and a unique setting.

At the man’s, I’ve also been very indulgent in watching The Big Bang Theory when it is on. I have fallen in love with that show! I wish it would push out to Netflix. As well as every home design or remodel show.

We are also watching Bar Rescue, Tanked, and various cooking shows.

  1. Those home remodel and design shows can be addicting. 🙂 I wish I was more handy and crafty and had an eye for design. I get so many ideas from those shows!

I watched the first few seasons of Grey’s Anatomy and enjoyed it, but I lost interest after awhile and haven’t watched it sense. Every now and then I wonder if maybe I should go back and watch what I’ve missed. I’ve only seen the first couple seasons of The Big Bang Theory and really enjoyed it. Someday I’d like to watch more. I’m not really a sitcom or comedy show fan, but I liked that one. I’ve never seen One Tree Hill.

  2. Have you watched The 100? The first 2 seasons are on Netflix, and since I am unhealthily obsessed, I have started pushing it on people, so there you go, new summer project 😉 Also the first two episodes or so seem kind of crappy, so push through 😂

I could never really get into Grey’s either. My mom loved it for awhile, but then kind of started watching it out of obligation instead of enjoyment, so that isn’t fun.
