Expanding My Horizons
In the last year(ish) I’ve read several books that are outside of my reading norm, and here they are!
OOoh nice picks! These are all totally new to me! Glad you enjoyed them though!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
These are mostly new to me but several look interesting. I’m especially curious about The Banished Craft.
I surprised at how much I enjoyed Ella, the Slayer. I was a little wary because I’m not a zombie person. I can’t wait to read the other book by that author that my sister gifted me for my birthday.
I enjoyed The Witching Elm (just reviewed book 2 recently) and Henge. 🙂
I’m not a zombie person either, and that was my worry, but I loved it!
I haven’t read any of these books, but I’m happy you enjoyed them!
The Witching Elm has caught my eye! I will be checking that one out!
Thanks for stopping by the The Local Muse
The only book familiar to me is CN Crawford’s. Kudos for stepping outside your comfort zone though, Charlie. It can be kinda scary but sometimes it turns out to be very good. 😀

I’ve only read one of these, Love Amid the Ashes. It’s my favorite from that author. I love how eclectic you’ve been! Thanks so much for sharing this at Booknificent Thursday!

Those are the two foundations of my childhood, thanks to Little House on the Prairie and Harlequin Romance. I am also always up for a good middle grades read or murder mystery. I have shied away from YA in general due to the copious amount of tropes and love triangles. I also enjoy writing styles, so I will pick up books by authors with similar styles (such as Kristin Hannah and Elin Hilderbrand). In the last couple of years I have tried to broaden my horizons and I think I did a pretty good job. […]
