The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, a post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things received, and share news about what is coming up on the blog for the week ahead. To get in on the Sunday funday, see the rules here: Sunday Post Meme. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This was my last week to myself before all of the bustle of school starts. I feel that I’ve gotten ahead quite a bit in my reading scheduled and am ready for August. I am not, however, ready for school to start! Are we ever? 🙂
I do feel pretty accomplished, however. I listened to two audiobooks this week and I cleaned out my desk and reorganized a little bit. I cleared out almost an entire trash bag of various papers and brochures!

Teachers may not be ready for school to start but parents sure are! And even though they wouldn’t admit it the kids are too. I hope you get a great class this year! My desk needs a serious overhaul. It’s not happy right now. Have a great week!
Oh, yes, the parents and kids are definitely ready! My desk doesn’t *look* much different, but I know those drawers are clean and organized. 😉
It always feels so awesome to organize and purge a bunch of stuff. My Entire house needs a serious purge that I plan to do in September, I am hoping the family will help me since I am not a fan of clutter!
This weekend I didn’t do any reading at all and I have a great book that I want to finish but we had a party and I didn’t have time. Tonight I plan to sit and ignore everyone and just read.
Have a great week, Charlie! Happy Reading! oxox
I’m not a fan of clutter either! Both of my parents are hoarders and it drives me crazy. I am going slowly, one thing at a time. Next I’m doing my closets and then my clothing, but I still have a bunch of stuff at my parents’ from the early years of college. It can take forever! For now, though, sit and ignore them! 🙂
I’m excited for school to start. I love sales on office supplies! I picked up some crayons and markers today–Crayola brand even. 🙂 Gotta have supplies for the nieces and nephews when they come visit.

Oh, yes! Office supplies has an unnatural stronghold on me! I have to keep myself in check these days because I want ALL of the things!
School already!?!? How is that even possible!? Nooooooo. I do not approve. I mean, I don’t have kids who are old enough for school yet so it doesn’t really mean anything to me but… I need more summer! It has been too fast! Thanks for linking to my post, too 😀 And nice job decluttering! You can come to my house and help my hoarder self to the same 😉 Hope you have a great week!
Oh, I didn’t mean the students coming back to school…I meant us teachers having to go back. Yeah, pretty much the whole month of August. 🙂
Woohoo for cleaning out the desk. I’m usually pretty good about mine, but the clutter has accumulated lately. Have a great week!
Well done on getting sorted for August… even if not for school!
I still have a month before school starts. I have lots of things I want to do before that happens. Come see my weekly report. Happy reading!
I have three weeks before my kids go back to school, it cannot come soon enough!!
Enjoy your week!
