***** Review *****
I wanted to like this book so bad. It has a badass title with a great cover.
I just could not get into it. I think there were two reasons.
- I wanted to, but it was just too outlandish for me. I felt like it wanted to be realistic, but it was just a poser, a fake. Even the characters. I don’t like that. I don’t like that in people, and I definitely do not like it in my books.
- It d r u g on and on and on. It was so slow. I felt like nothing was happening.
I reached the quarter mark and I had to have a serious conversation with myself. I hate DNFing books, but I had to remind myself that I also hate forcing myself to read something just for the sake of not DNFing it.
