The Question:

How did you come up with your blog title and address? Does it have a special meaning for you?

My Answer:

I named my blog Girl of 1000 Wonders after the book Land of a Hundred Wonders by Lesley Kagen because of the main character, Gibby. I simply loved everything about Gibby and her world, and the way she chose to see it.

Gibby McGraw catches her big break one very hot summer. She suffered brain damage after a tragic accident that took the lives of both her parents. Now Gibby is NQR (Not Quite Right), which is a struggle for her being an up and coming newspaper reporter. She goes around town everywhere with her notebook anyway, writing down anything that is remotely of interest so she can put together a story.

She knows she has a story when she stumbles upon the body of the next governor, Buster Malloy. Gibby bets on solving the murder to be her ticket to prove to the town that she isn’t NQR. But things quickly start to spiral out of control when she starts investigating.

How did your blog come into its name? Leave a comment with your response and your Friday Follow.
