WWW Wednesdays (July 16)

This is a weekly meme hosted by MizB @ Should Be Reading. To join in, click on the image above, and answer these three questions:

What are you currently reading?

Lucy returns to the only place she can really call home, Hope’s Crossing, where her father unceremoniously dumped her so many years ago with a kind and compassionate great-aunt. In Hope’s Crossing she also bonds with her cousin, Jess, and together they create an unshakable friendship.

Now, years later, Lucy has left the big city in somewhat of a disgrace, seeking shelter and refuge while trying to figure out her next move…and complete a wish of her aunt and cousin.

But Hope’s Crossing is not all a bed of roses for Lucy. Years ago, on a starlit night, Brendan Caine kissed Lucy. And she thought he hung the moon…until he started dating Jess two weeks later! Now, with Jess gone and two little ones left behind, godmother Lucy is trying very hard to be civil to Brendan, but abandonment is a hard spoonful of medicine to swallow.

But history will repeat itself when her father comes knocking once again….

What did you recently finish reading?

I finished these three books for upcoming tour reviews. Pieces of Love was very sentimental to me, with somewhat familiar happenings in the story…except that marvelous Mediterranean cruise! The Prince Iggy books are wonderful and sweet stories about a kid, Iggy, who is not very confident and finds out that he his a prince of a long-off kingdom. The second book (The Tower of Decisions) features his journey to the Rose Kingdom to reclaim the throne from his evil aunt, Victoria.

What do you think you’ll read next?

How about you? Have you read any of these? What are you reading this week? Please leave a comment with either the link to your own WWW Wednesday post, or share your answers in the comments here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks! 🙂
